Ellen Kelliher Obituary

Ellen, widow of Dennis Kelliher, died at her home on Plain street yesterday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock after an illness of several years.  Mrs. Kelliher was born in Ireland about 88 years ago. She came to this country and this city in 1848, and lived here since and in the house where she died for 39 years.  Mrs. Kelliher leaves two daughters, Mrs. B. O'Leary of Brockton, Mass., and Miss Mary A. Kelliher of this city.  She also leaves three sons, B. P. Crowley of Waverly, Mass., John P. Crowley and James P. Crowley of this city.  The funeral will be held at St. Peter's Church Thursday morning at 9 o'clock.  The burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.

Funeral of Mrs. Ellen Kelliher

The funeral of Mrs. Ellen Kelliher, who died Monday at her home on Plain street, was held at St. Peter's church yesterday morning at 9 o'clock.  Rev. J. B. McGarry officiated.  The bearers were John Capeless, Michael Collins, Michael Welch, and John Halpin.  The burial was in Calvary cemetery. Mrs. B. O'Leary of Boston, a daughter of the woman, was among those who attended the funeral.
