Funeral of Mrs. Ellen Costello

Funeral Largely Attended Services for Mrs. Ellen Costello at St. Peter's Church

Funeral services for Mrs. Ellen Costello, who died Sunday afternoon at her home on River Street of heart trouble, were held yesterday morning at 9 o'clock in St. Peter's Church with Rev. R. F. Nolin celebrating the High Mass of Requiem. The services were largely attended. The bearers were Michael Gilrain, S. J. Lalor, William Gilliam, Walter J. Barrett, Thomas McLaughlin and Patrick Brohan.  Burial was in Calvary cemetery and Fr. Nolin officiated at the committal. Music was furnished by the regular choir and Miss Nellie Barrett and John E. Barrett rendered vocal solos.  There were flowers from Organizations, relatives and friends. Among those from out of the city who attended were; Mr. and Mrs. R. H. Costello; George Costello; John and M. J.Costello; John F. Costello; Walter Costello; Mrs. Mary Waldron and Miss Jennie Costello of Philadelphia; Mr. and Mrs. J. Dorman and children Bartley and Helen of Troy, N.Y.; Mr. and Mrs. E.W. Jones and daughter Margaret of Montreal; Mrs. R. Roach of Whitehall, N.Y.; Mrs. Dwight Perry, Mrs. Elizabeth Callahan and Mrs. John McNamara of Fair Haven and Mrs. Mary Welch and Mrs. Alice Eaton of Springfield, Mass.
